Transcription Rates
Digital transcription from 75p per audio minute for an intelligent verbatim transcript of one-to-one interviews based on my standard turnaround of one week. The rate for focus group transcription is 85p per audio minute. The price may increase for poor quality audio files but we would contact you beforehand if this was the case. Add an extra 20p for 24 hour turnaround or 10p for 48 hour turnaround.
Verbatim transcription is charged at a rate of 85p per audio minute for one-to-one interviews or 95p for focus groups, i.e. if you require 'ums,' 'errs' etc. Add an extra 20p for 24 hour turnaround or 10p for 48 hour turnaround.
Transcription from cassette - £12.00 per hour. A 60 minute transcript would take around 3.5 to 4 hours to transcribe.
Transcription of medical terminology is 85p per audio minute intelligent verbatim or 95p per audio minute for verbatim one-to-one interviews based on standard turnaround of one week, or add an extra 10p to these rates for focus groups.
