Rates

  • Digital transcription from 65p per audio minute for an intelligent verbatim transcript. The rate is the same regardless of how many speakers there. The price may increase for poor quality audio files but I would contact you beforehand if this was the case.
  • Verbatim transcripts are charged at a rate of £85p per audio minute, i.e. if you require 'ums,' 'errs,' etc.
  • Transcription from cassette - £12.00 per hour. A 60 minute transcript would take around 3.5 to 4 hours to transcribe.
  • The rate for medical terminology is £85p per audio minute.
  • For a 24-hour turnaround the rate is 75p.

Confidentiality

I undertake to ensure all information supplied by my clients remains confidential. If you would like me to sign a confidentiality agreement, I will be happy to do so. I do not outsource surplus work overseas. All work will generally be carried out by myself, or any surplus work is done by a small number of other UK-based transcribers who work for me on a regular basis.
