Digital Transcriptions

All you need to do is upload your digital file to our website and it's as simple as that! We will then confirm receipt of the files via email and agree a timescale with you.

Digital files generally take around 4 times the running time to transcribe, dependant on the quality of the audio file. A 60 minute file will therefore take around 4 hours to complete.

The transcription time increases if there are more than 2 people speaking at once and also if people are talking over each other, as there is a need to rewind the audio to capture everything that is said.

The digital audio files we accept are:

DSS, WAV, WMA, MP3, AIF, VOX, Olympus, Sony Recorder formats, and many others.

Confidentiality

I undertake to ensure all information supplied by my clients remains confidential. If you would like me to sign a confidentiality agreement, I will be happy to do so. I do not outsource surplus work overseas. All work will generally be carried out by myself, or any surplus work is done by a small number of other UK-based transcribers who work for me on a regular basis.
